Vail Valley Mountain Trail Alliance End of Season Appreciation Party did not disappoint! The evening was filled with dedicated community passionate about sustainable & accessible trail systems, connecting people to nature, promoting environmental stewardship, and strengthening community well-being!

AND GGRIT WON 2026 TEAM OF THE YEAR!!!

THANK YOU to everyone that showed up to help maintain Game Creek Trail. I am so proud of the mix of people over 5 months: different ages, genders, experience levels… but ALL POSITIVE ATTITUDES!!

THANK YOU Vail Valley Mountain Trails & Natalie Neuwirth for making it so easy for us, the community, to have ownership and pride in our trails. This is truly an incredible organization! ❤️❤️

Wow! 3 keynotes back to back in Dallas with the INCREDIBLE SHELTON SCHOOL!

The perfect way to kick off Dyslexia Awareness Month, I was thrilled to share my story and the tools of GGRIT with the student body (talk 1), facilitate a workshop with teachers and staff (talk 2) and then wrap it up as the keynote speaker (talk 3) at their conference, inviting educators from surrounding schools.

Celebrating it’s 50th anniversary. Shelton School is recognized as a world class K-12 independent school serving intelligent students with learning differences such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia ADHD and related language based disorders. Not only does Shelton provide a comprehensive educational experience that integrates academics, social-emotional growth, and self advocacy, but they also host an annual conference to share their expertise with other schools to aid their neurodivergent programs!

I would have LOVED a school like this when I was growing up! Doesn’t matter, because I’m a part of their family NOW!

Thank you to Suzanne Stell and Jenny Duncan for making me a part of this extraordinary place! This is the beginning of much more to come!

Heartbroken to find out Pasang Bhote was confirmed dead from the deadly avalanche that hit the Himlung Himal Base Camp, on Sep 27th.
Pasang, Naren Shahi Thakuri and I stood at the top of Mt Everest together May12, 2022. He was a talented, kind, full of positivity and a husband and father. We’ve kept in touch over the years, sending messages over social media and following each other’s journeys. This is a huge lose to the mountaineering community 😢

Climate change can no longer be denied when devastating events like this have become weekly occurrences. This is not political. This is science, facts and lives lost. This did not have to happen.

Absolutely HONORED to be a panel speaker for “Reframing Dyslexia as a Hyper-Ability” at the 2026 Stanford Neurodiversity Summit last weekend!
Thank you to Gil Gershoni, Creative Director & Co-Founder of Dyslexic Design Thinking, for creating a platform ready for reflective conversation and lived experience discussion.

Gil, myself and the INCREDIBLE Jeffrey Conger, Professor of Graphic Design, Montana State University and Nicole Ofiesh, Ph.D., Cognitive behavioral scientist and entrepreneur, Brain Explained, introduced a strengths-based, hyper-ability framework for understanding dyslexia and discuss practical, educator-facing strategies that celebrate neurodivergent thinking

The Stanford Neurodiversity Summit 2026 is a hybrid annual event by the Stanford Center for Neurodiversity and Human Potential uniting neurodivergent individuals, educators, employers, and researchers around strengths-based approaches

Love spending the day with these phenomenal humans and soaking in the energy of my neurodiverse community!

THANK YOU to everyone that made it out to this seasons last GGRIT ADOPT-A-TRAIL crew day on Game Creek Trail!
The leaves may be changing, but our dedication and love for our trails NEVER FADES!

It’s been incredible rewarding to spend a few Saturdays digging in the dirt, rebuilding trail integrity, spending time with close friends and meeting new ones. You can’t help but feel pride in a couple hours of hard work and feel more connected to the land and to community!

THANK YOU Vail Valley Mountain Trails and Natalie Neuwirth for giving me the opportunity to do more and support VVMTA! ❤️
