Going home after surgery with a list of what not to do and zero warning for what week one actually feels like.

Save this if you have surgery coming up, or send it to someone who does.

Comment 75 for the journal that helps you track every win from day one.

You’re doing everything right and the confidence still hasn’t shown up — that’s not a you problem, it won’t show up if you’re still afraid.

Writing down one small win every day is what actually started to change that for me. That’s where the trust comes back.

Your PT has a plan for your knee. The 75 Journal is the plan for everything else. Comment 75 and I’ll send it to you.

Comeback Confession #1.

There was a day I almost quit, and it had nothing to do with my knee - hope just got heavy.

If that’s where you are, nothing is wrong with you. The progress is real, you just can’t see it yet. Mine showed up five times.

Comment RESET for the free 5 minute reset I use on the heavy days.

New confession every Friday. 🤍

You haven’t missed a single PT session, and honestly you’re probably doing more than you were asked to.

You’re adding a little extra at home, testing your body to see if it’s ready, asking your PT the same question for the third time this week just to feel okay for a few hours.

So when the confidence still doesn’t show up, you start wondering if you’re the problem.

You’re not, and I need you to hear that.

Confidence doesn’t automatically follow repetition when fear is still in the room, and nobody tells you that part at discharge.

Your PT is rebuilding your knee, but rebuilding trust in your body is a separate job that needs its own plan.

After my 5th surgery I finally built one, and it starts with tracking the wins nobody else is counting.

Comment 75 and I’ll send it to you!

Getting cleared isn’t the finish line. It’s the part where everyone stops checking on you.

Five surgeries taught me that the hard way.

Your surgeon fixes your body but the fear, the grief, the “who am I now” — that doesn’t show up on a scan and nobody hands you a protocol for it.

That’s the part I rebuild with athletes now. If today feels heavy, comment RESET and I’ll send you the 5-minute reset I used on my hardest days. 🤍

Read that again!

There is no timeline that you are failing. There is your body, your pace and a whole lot of people who have never had to rebuild theirs telling you how fast it should go.

Save this for the day you feel behind & send this to someone who needs to stop racing their own recovery.

Fear is loud during recovery. It creeps in at 2am and shows up every time you try to push a little harder.

And here’s the thing nobody talks about: fear doesn’t just affect your mindset, it affects your healing. When you’re constantly bracing for the worst, your body stays tense, your progress stalls, and you start making decisions from a place of protection instead of growth.

Trust is the shift that changes everything, not blind optimism actual trust. In your body, in the process, in the work you’re putting in every single day. When you move from fear to trust, you stop holding your breath through it and start participating in it.

You don’t find trust overnight. You build it one thought at a time.

Which fear are you working on releasing? Drop it below.

And if you know someone in recovery who needs this reminder — send it to them.
