We don’t just say our toys hold up. We test them every single day at the Cycle Dog Tavern & Dog Park, where hundreds of dogs tug, yank, and wrestle them.

Most of our springy toys live in the dog park for months. They get pulled on all day, tossed in the wash every few days, and go right back out for more.

A machine can’t stuff this toy. George and our team can. 🐾

Here’s the backstory. Most plush toys are made from fabric thin enough that a machine can blow the stuffing right in. Fast, easy, cheap.

Our fabric is double-layered and so thick that air can’t pass through it. You just saw what happened when we tried the machine. 😂

So every toy gets stuffed by hand, right here in our Portland, Oregon factory.

Honestly? We wouldn’t have it any other way.

When you run a factory, there’s always a shortcut. Thinner fabric. A faster machine. Outsourcing the work. Every one of those would make our lives easier. None of them would make a better toy for your dog.

So we keep choosing the harder option: durable materials that hold up to real play, and real people who care about the work. Our crew is 30 makers and 10 factory dogs (the dogs do all the final QC) and every toy that leaves here has been in the hands of someone thinking about the dog that is going to love this toy.

At a time when it feels like everything is being handed over to machines, we’re proud to be the only plush dog toy makers left in the USA. And we’re even prouder of the people who make that possible.

Fun Fact…George stuffs every toy by feel. He can’t see the ball but he knows exactly how its suppose to feel when fully stuffed.
