Recesstime Sports Leagues

Beti was the spirit of the Recesstime dodgeball league. Her legacy will forever remain as a staple of one of the best times in many of our lives. She welcomed people into the league with open arms and then sent them to the outline as she caught their balls. She never met a stranger; she became an uncle, a sister and a best friend. It’s not fair that she’s not here. It’s not fair that she got sick. Beti faced cancer like she walked thorough this world - valiantly with courage, humor and determination.

Thank you for joining our league and our lives, Beti, and for all you did to help support us. We are all better people after knowing you. Though we’ll miss you here, St. Peter just earned one heckuva comedic welcoming party.

We’re sending all of our love to those who are hurting right now and missing Beti, especially her brother Randy, and sister Jenny Wills who many may remember from our bowling leagues. We’ve created a gallery on our photo page, and a thread on Facebook, please go share your favorite pics of Beti in that thread.
