The batting practice room is almost cleared out. We have the tabletop built, and 3 ramps. The driver's stand still needs to be built. We are going to open European style racing. That is the main track is the green carpet (yes its carpet), then the ramps and tabletops will be covered in the ozite carpet. You can see the rolls are already there. This is going to happen. The timing system is programmed and working great! I am hoping for a come by and try the room this weekend? I am sure we can have races running by the 14th. Rules, classes, and guidelines will be posted soon. If we do have the mini crawler course running and open the big room for practice and you don't know if you have a car that will work? Bring it by. All cars will be 2s maximum. The largest cars allowed are 1/10 2wd sct. 4x4 sct are too aggressive. 1/10 2wd buggy, 1/10 2wd stadium truck, and 1/10 4x4 buggy are the other more popular classes. You do not have to have a pro style chassis to come and race. We will have classes for those that want to bring their 2wd slash, or bandit or any other brand's similar vehicles. You also do not need to buy a transponder. I have 9 already. If you do have a mrt, amb, or 2 wire mylaps you are all set. If you decide you want your own transponder, I will be putting in another order the middle of the month. $40 for a mini and $45 for the standard size. I have both if you'd like to see what they look like before purchasing. The white lines are tape, it will come up when we set the track guides in place, for those wondering 🤔. I thought it was 40x90, it's actually 40x100. So the track itself should be 3200-3300 sq ft. This is not a small track. Onwards and upwards ✨️
