🏁🏁Race Day Recap🏁🏁:

Carter’s Recap:
Sr Honda Heat P6 to P5
Sr Honda Feature P5 to P2 🥈
For a second week in a row Carter found speed in the feature marching his way from the back towards the front. Had a good clean battle with 3rd for a few laps before fully committing and making the pass settling in with P2.

Lt 160 Heat P2 to P2
Got shuffled to the back on the start but battled back to P2 with a good race.
Lt 160 Feature P4 to P4
Was a solid race, but still struggling to find grip with this car. Made his way to P3 but was chased down and passed for 3rd with 3 laps to go. The crew chief is gonna focus a little to see if we can get this car in a better spot!

Carter also got a chance to do a little commentating! Doing a little post race interviewing of two Petty Performance Edge Top 48 competitors the Singleton Racing sisters!!

Carsten’s Recap:
Blue Rookie Heats: P2 to P1
Carsten and the pole sitter got out front to a good start pulling away from the field. Unfortunately he caught the back bumper spinning 1st and himself out. So back to P6 he went but with 7 laps to go he marched back to the front for the Heat win! Passing 3 cars on a single lap helps!

Blue Rookie Feature: P1 to P1 🥇 🏆
Starting on the front row with some tough competition, Carsten got a good jump and lead to the checkered flag!

In true Carsten fashion after winning and getting out of the car. First words to mom (Anna Fank) can I go get an icy from the concession stand! 🤦🏻‍♂️ Dude you just won!!

It was good to have the team back at the track today! Rustic Motorsports & Charlie Wilt Racing! Thanks for all the help lifting cars Bryan Wilt!
