Not sure how this video never got posted but here is the fastest pass we have had with the Vega! Was going over past videos looking for motivation to continue the rebuild. A current picture of how the car sits now. New roof on, front end fit up and fixing a bunch of problems that were not known about before. Still a bunch of work to do but we are keeping on it and trying to get done to race this year sometime. Appreciate everyone’s support for this.

So as some know we wrecked the car in the beginning of the season. The plan was to either get the Vega fixed and back out this year or get a new car done. Well life happens and neither got done however we are steady rolling on the new car. It will be lighter and faster than before. We are continuing to stay busy on it and look forward to the 2024 racing season.

Also we are still in search of a Vega body mainly roof and 1/4s and rockers that is in good condition and not priced out of the world.

Was able to get out to Cecil county Dragway and do some testing yesterday. Nice little no nitrous a-b pass to get things started after all the updates. Finally have some good wheel speed and can work on bringing more and more power in. Thanks to Collett and Sons Welding & Mfg. Inc and for all my friends and family for everything you do! Couldn’t do this without any of you!

Car has been buffed, wheels are cleaned and polished. The racing season is finally here. Will be testing this weekend weather pending. Would not be able to do this without all my friends and family standing behind me and supporting me and Collett and Sons Welding & Mfg. Inc for sponsoring us. First official race is May 5th & 6 at Cecil county dragway but we may hit a race before then! Looking forward to a great season full of fun and winning!

Well this has been a long journey. Starting in November of 2021 the plan was to remove the engine, have it freshened and be ready to race for the 2022 season. Well over 16 months later we are finally almost done this “update”. From redoing the midplate mount to firewall to interior, wiring and all the accessory mounting up front we are almost done. Car is freshly painted and just needs to be buffed. Couldn’t have done this without all the support from everyone involved. We have some decals to get put on still but we are almost there. Looking forward to what the 2023 racing season has in store and beyond. We still have a few sponsorship opportunities available as well. Dm us for details!

Car is on the ground and off to paint! Wouldn’t be able to do any of this without the help and support from everyone involved. Never thought this would turn into what it did but almost at the finish line now. Ready to turn on some win lights and chase a championship this year!

Wiring is complete and was able to fire the fresh bullet off today. A few more things on the inside to finish, freshen up the transmission and put some fresh paint on and we will be ready for the 2023 racing season. Looking to win some races this year and see if we can bring home a championship. Wouldn’t be able to do any of this without all the people standing behind me and helping out!

Engine all the way in. New radiator and fuel cell mounted fuel pump mounted. Hood and front end are now fiberglassed together and body work on front end almost complete! We are getting closer and closer to finishing up.

Fire wall is done. Motor set in and new front end mount completed. Unfortunately we will miss the April street car shoot...

Unfortunately we will miss the April street car shoot out at Cecil county but we will be ready for the May race. Getting closer and closer everyday.
