We live in a broken world with broken people. All of us are damaged. However, there are levels of damage similar to arthritis: mild, moderate, severe, and you’re f*cked.
If you have not spent time in self-reflection, are cognizant of your actions and behaviors, addressed the places you were hurt, relive and process the feelings, and have spent time reading, praying, in therapy, etc., trying to work on your issues, then you are probably continuing the cycle of damaged people damaging people, intentionally or unintentionally. Do what you can to unf*ck yourself, break the chains, breathe, and stop hurting those you encounter. In my opinion, a continuous life goal is to unf*ck yourself as you move through life. It’s also part of being a lifelong learner. You are a temple; what you let in can enhance you or destroy you. Guard your heart and mind, for all of life flows from them, avoiding being hardened. Difficult task. The strongest people do everything they can to minimize trauma, gain wisdom from it, and remain with the ability to be loving and caring without being bound by chains. If you haven’t come to a point in your life that’s all you want is peace, love, happiness, health and prosperity then you still have work. Keep moving. 🙏💪🏼👍
