This past weekend we departed at 0-Dark thirty for our haul up to Oxford Plains Speedway in Maine. Due to the early departure and a busy day running 2 cars we failed to recognize one of our supports. This weeks tow bill was covered by the Buckley family in loving memory of Phillip. We want to thank the Buckley's for their continued support as well as sending our thoughts and prayers during this time. We can not thank those that help us do what we do enough.

Oxford Plains NEMA Lite feature. We struggled in practice but bolted new tires on for the heat and feature and man this thing came alive. Led a bunch of laps but just not enough tire at the end. Brought the MEMA's NEMA Poppy's pistons #53 home in third. Thank you to our sponsors

Practice is done here at Oxford Speedway, running double duty again today in the #69 Cabral Family Racing, Chuck Wagon Chassis NEMA car along with our #53 NEMA Lite. Heats up soon, starting 5th in the NEMA car and 3rd in the Lite.

Lee USA Speedway was a much better result then last week. In the #53 NEMA Lite finished 5th. Had a fast car but after a red flag the stagger grew and was just too loose to really make any further moves. The #69 Chuck Wagon NEMA car is still a science experiment had a great heat race where the car handled well and showed some speed. Unfortunately we missed the setup and the track changed for the feature. I think Dylan forgot which car he was in at the start as he got on the throttle and spun the tires pretty bad. He manhandled the car for a bit but about 1/2 way he got lapped and pulled off to save the equipment and not effect the leaders. Definitely learned alot about what that car needs.

So a while back we did a fund raiser for a trip out to Indiana. Unfortunately rain has cancelled not one but two trips out to Indiana. With our next trip not scheduled until October I dont want to make these kind folks who help support what we do wait any longer so over the next couple of weeks we will recognize them. First up is Deb Glockner Marvuglio and the Shane Hammond Believe Foundation. The foundation brings racers safety ro the forfront for teams and tracks alike. Practice is in the books here at Star Speedway, we went 2nd fastest in first practice on our new tires, and 7th fastest on our old tires in second practice. Heat races fire off at 5:00 we'll roll off 7th in heat race 2.
