Last night the girls raced at Blue Mountain's first responders night taking their Storm Chassis for their first laps on dirt!

Andi's results
Light 160:
Heat- 5th➡️5th (missed the gearing)
Feature- 5th➡️4th

Sr. Honda:
Heat- 9th➡️5th (missed the gearing)
Feature- 5th➡️2nd

Karsyn's results
Jr. 160:
Heat- 7th➡️6th (missed the gearing)
Feature- went for a ride onto her lid but was able to finish the race in "second to last" as she stated 😆 6th➡️7th

Jr. Honda:
Heat- 7th➡️5th (missed the gearing- really Dad😒)
Feature- 5th➡️1st 🏁

It's hard to have your camera or phone out when you have kids racing in all the classes that we do usually back to back. 4th National loading for September at Keystone State Quarter Midget Racing Club !

What a weekend Keystone State Quarter Midget Racing Club for points races 3 and 4 and the annual 🌽 roast race! The track was in great shape for racing all weekend!

Saturday - we chased the track all day and ended up in 5 consecutive B Mains for both girls - we ended up with one X car, one A Main, and the rest no good. Dad just couldn’t get the cars in the sweet spot, and we had multiple issues with the 160.

Sunday - much better day for the team. Andi locked both Senior Honda and Senior Animal straight to the A, light 160, went to the B, got caught up in an incident or two, and didn’t transfer. The A Mains at Keystone are National caliber every week and we came home with a 7th and 8th.

Karsyn ran Bs in her cars, locked Jr Honda for the last transfer spot. Jr Animal was X car and didn’t make it out. Then, she took her Jr Honda from 10th to the LEAD in the A Main. She led about 10-12 laps before she missed her mark and ended up losing the lead, and wrecked again. She went back to 10th again and drove to 5th at the finish. We were proud of her fight and determination to get a good finish!

Recap from NASCAR Youth Series race at Richmond Raceway

Karsyn:
Honda B main- with 7 laps left in the race she came around the one turn and unfortunately caught a car that was involved in wreck ahead of her. Axel got bent and the bars made some beautiful U's (fyi they are supposed to be straight) if she wouldn't have gotten into that she would of been up to 5th and could of been the X car for the A main. Finish DNF

160- B main she started 5th and got 6th. She gave it some solid effort but with 4 laps left running in transfer x spot she got caught up by another car and had to go back to the end od th we pack. She made it back to 6th but couldn't lock it into the A.

Animal- A main; our pole starter led about the first 10 laps but then missed her mark opening the door for 2nd. Some of her inexperience on pavement came into play here and she got crashed putting her to the back. She was able to drive back up to 6th but just didn't have enough laps to get it done. Finish 6th place

Andi
Animal B main- she drove herself to 6th twice and got taken out both times. She finished 6th and unfortunately her day of racing ended there.

We have had so much fun racing on and off the track! We went over to watch the race when we were all loaded up! Got to meet a few of the Nascar drivers and chat and get some signed swag!

Heats lowers recap for today!

Karsyn making her second appearance in Storm Chassis cars! We had some bad luck in the Honda heat with a crazy start to the day and finished 7th out of 7 putting her last in the C main. In the lower she was able to pass and make some nice moves from last to 3rd and finished there to tranfer to the B main starting 9th.

Jr. Animal- that girl drove the wheels off! 4th to 2nd and waited for the perfect timing to make the move and finish 1st in her heat.🏁🏁🏁 Putting her on the pole of the A-main tomorrow!!

Jr 160- we are still learning so we wanted to try some things- it wasn't what works with our driver only going 5th to 4th in her heat putting her into the B main starting 5th.

Andi:
Honda- started 2nd was running in 4th when she got spun out twice by the same car with no time to recover finishing in 7th

Sr. Animal- started 6th and car just didnt have the setup it needed and that's where we ended up. C Main she drove herself to qualify and will start 10th in the B tomorrow

Light 160- tough heat race with some of the best put us in the D Main. Dad continues to learn how to make these cars better for the parking lot. D Main, ended in 5th and was the X car but didnt make it out.

Long day tomorrow catch us at 8am on FloRacing!!

We have had a few rainouts the past week or two but we're excited to announce we hit the road and got practice day in today at Richmond Raceway without a cloud in sight!

Girls are both super excited to be racing the NASCAR Youth Series pavement races this weekend

Looking forward to heats tomorrow! Wish us luck!
