A few of our Shad-tastic adventures we've been having. We were able to get back on the yuba for a couple days then they dropped the River levels once again. So we made our way up the Sacramento River and found them just pass Colsua Ca, away from all the crowds. We're hoping they raise the Yuba River back up so we can finish off our season there but only time will tell.

We're going to be finishing up our shad season here in a couple weeks then we'll be preparing for the upcoming Salmon Season. We're excited and can't wait to see what's to come! We're brushing off our Bobbers and getting ready for some BOBBER DOWN ACTION!!!

Due to drop in river levels last week. We ended up fishing our old stomping grounds the American River and it didn't disappoint. But we are happy to announce that the river levels are back up on the scenic Yuba River and we'll be heading back up there very soon!

What a windy but successful weekend we had. We're back on our Shad-tastic fishing grounds! It was pretty dicey traveling up the yuba river this weekend due to such low water conditions. After bobbing and weaving though many obstacles we made it to some exceptional fishing up on the Yuba River. The wind sure made it difficult but we managed to put a whooping to these hand fighting fish. Great fishing for all ages!!!

We start our Shad-tastic season in May which is only a couple of weeks away! If you havent reserved your dates yet. You definitely dont want to miss out on a action packed adventure with either your friends or family!

On another note our favorite time of the year is here! We can't wait for another shad-tastic season!!! Thats right the shad are here and flooding into our rivers as we speak. We want to finish our striper seaskn strong then we will start our shad season at the beginning of May!

What are you waiting for??? Come join in on the action!!! Striper fishing is in full swing and you dont want to miss out on it! The delta has been very good to us but we've decided to make the switch over to the River and it's been outstanding both mornings and evenings!

We still have some availability so give us a call! More dates have opened up as we will have a Co-Captain running our boat. Most of you may know I'm one Busy "B" and have very limited availability nowadays. But that wont stop us from getting you out on the water and in on the action!

As always everything is provided for your fishing trip, all you'll need to bring is your fishing licenses, food, and cooler to take fish home. Fish processing is included.

Bear with me this may be a long one as we don't post often but here's what we've been up to. And thats catching stripers!!! We have very limited dates available for this year's striper season so if you havent booked or reserve your dates yet now is the time to do so before they're all filled.

We wanted to fill you guys in on some of the tackle we use here at B's Guide Service and who you can get them from. We've said it before if you haven't checkout COLMANTS Fishing and there selection of fishing lures. Check them out. We absolutely love thire "C-strike jerkbaits" it's a versatile lure which we use for casting and for shallow water trolling

And for trolling it is a must, to add trolling sticks aka (trick worms) to your lures for that added movement and vibration that attracts these hard fighting stripers. What an absolute blast we've had the last couple of trips out at Clearlake. All the crappie you can handle and of course those big channel Cats! Catching those catfish on mini rods and light rods makes it just that more enjoyable and kiddos absolutely love it!!!
