This is a fun and friendly dance for all ages! Bagaduce Music heads up the Open Band (open to all musicians, instruments & skill levels). Show up 15 minutes early to get situated if you’d like to play with us! Dances are easy, they’re a wonderful “training ground” for contra dancing. No admission charge for the community dance, but donations are very welcome. Contra Dance 7pm – 10pm … 2nd Saturday

s in Surry at 7! All ages welcome and no experience is necessary! All dances are taught & no need to bring a partner. See schedule below for who will be calling and providing the fabulous live music each month.
$15-$25 suggested. A portion of funds raised help support the Arbutus Grange and Bagaduce Music. This dance is totally chem-free! No tobacco, alcohol, drugs or strong fragrances. These guys! 😻 Gus, Pepin and Alyssa were fabulous on Sat! We'll be seeing them all the end of the month here too at Chain Reaction (join the waitlist if you didn't get tix yet, no door sales, sorry!)
Next Surry Contra is June 13 with Thistlebird and Darcy Kerr calling! Yay!!

Omg Gus and Pepin are soooo good! Come dance tonight or just sit and enjoy the music, it's a cheap concert 😅 6-10pm at the Surry Grange, 1229 Surry Rd. $15-$25 suggested.
This clip is from Jan 2025 when Gus, Pepin and Alyssa were with us last!
G&P will also be playing at Chain Reaction end of the month, and Alyssa will be hosting a late night fusion dance. So stoked we get to hang with them all weekend 🤩
