Thank you to everyone who came out and supported Melissa this past weekend. Because of this community, we didn’t just reach our fundraiser goal — we surpassed it.

People from academies all across the valley showed up, and that says a lot about the kind of impact Melissa has had throughout the jiu-jitsu community.

We say this often at our gym:�“You never know what the person next to you is going through.”

Melissa is a cherished member of our gym and the jiu-jitsu community. From the day she stepped onto the mats, she has shown unwavering kindness, encouragement, and support for everyone around her. She has made a lasting impact on so many of us, and we are grateful to have her as part of our team.

Recently, Melissa experienced the sudden loss of her husband, Justin. This heartbreaking news has deeply affected all of us, and we want to come together as a community to support her during this incredibly difficult time.

We’ve started a donation effort to help ease the burden of memorial expenses and give Melissa the space and time she needs to grieve and begin healing.
