Tutu School is a boutique-style ballet school that caters specifically to children 6 months to 8 years-old. Our mission is simple: We believe that exposing children at the earliest possible age to creativity, movement, and classical music will only serve them well in whatever they choose to do with their lives, that dancing like swans and Sugar Plum Fairies not only exercises little bodies but also nurtures big imaginations, and that twirling should be a fundamental part of any childhood.

Meet Miss Ashley 🤍

We asked Miss Ashley a few questions so you could get to know the teacher who brings imagination into ballet and helps children leave class feeling joyful, creative, and part of something special.

Q: Why do you think imagination belongs in ballet?

A: I think imagination belongs in ballet because to me, ballet is beautiful and magical! As dancers, every child will be able to use their body to tell stories and create emotions. I love to always incorporate imagination into my classes because it makes ballet more than just steps—it makes it a beautiful art form full of wonder and creativity.

Q: What do you hope children feel after taking class with you?

A: After a child takes a class with me, I hope they feel joyful and excited to come back and dance again. I love that I am able to teach them the beauty of ballet and I want them to always know that they are truly a part of something special. But most importantly, I hope they always have fun during class and leave with a smile :)

Q: What is one song that instantly makes you want to dance?

A: One song that instantly makes me want to dance is Stupid for You by Waterparks!

At Tutu School Stuart, we believe ballet is for children who love to move, imagine, create, explore, and tell stories through movement.

This little dancer joined our story circle, made new friends, leaped across the studio with excitement, and reminded us what dance is really about.

Our hearts are so full after celebrating the Grand Opening of Tutu School Stuart.

Thank you to every little dancer who twirled through our doors, every family who joined us, our incredible Founding Members who believed in this dream before we ever opened, and every guest who came to celebrate with us.

A special thank you to our wonderful teachers, our Beauty and the Beast inspired royal guests, our talented violinist, and our professional ballerinas who helped bring a little extra magic to the day.

To our friends and family, thank you for the countless hours, encouragement, support, and love that helped make this dream a reality. We truly could not have done it without you.

And to our dancers, thank you for filling our studios with imagination, joy, confidence, and twirls from the very first day.

This school was built for our community, and seeing so many smiling faces sharing in the magic was something we will never forget.

The story is just beginning, and we cannot wait to twirl alongside your families for years to come. 💖

A few months ago, this was just a dream.

A dream that had me painting walls late at night, assembling furniture, hanging mirrors, solving problems, and wondering if families would believe in what we were building.

Today, while putting the finishing touches on Tutu School Stuart, I received the news that every Royal Twirl Circle Founding Membership has been claimed.

Sold out.

Twenty five families chose to place their trust in us before we even opened our doors.

I honestly don’t have words for how grateful I am.

To our Royal Twirl Circle families, thank you for believing in this vision and becoming part of Tutu School Stuart history.

This studio has been built with so much love, support, hard work, and hope from our family, our teachers, our community, and every person who has cheered us on along the way.
