Chaos is a strong willed pup with determination & high spirits! He continues to improve slowly on a daily basis. Right now we’re working with.
✔️ UTI w/ multiple antibiotics
✔️ protein deficiency with further testing
✔️ bowel and bladder involuntary incontinence (Lives in diapers ‘ depends)
✔️ weekly laser treatments
✔️Vet Appointment with Dr. Grady next week.
Chaos continues to improve daily and hopeful for his small wins🙏.
We still get asked about ways to support chaos. We do have a GoFundMe page, Venmo, and appreciate all the goodie bags we received for chaos during his recovery.

Whatever bead 🪝 setup you use for trout it really helps to make them before the trip and have a way to keep them organized. These leader feeder boxes have been a game changer for me.

Part of being successful guiding is using the time on the water efficiently. When a client break offs hand them the spare rod and get the other rod fixed when it’s safe to do without wasting a good drift.

The salmon run gets anglers from all over the 🌎 to come to Alaska. The salmon lifecycle also supports all kinds of animals, fish and even the trees along the river. The last few days we have watched coyotes, sea gulls, bears 🐻 and eagles 🦅 eating spawned out salmon. If you have never been to Alaska and seen this first hand you are missing out.

We love all the wildlife we see on the river. This young bull moose 🫎 is just starting to fill the effects of the fall rut. I like the look he gave the boat at the end. You want some….
Yesterday, we saw two brown bears, 🦭 seals, a coyote, 🦅 eagles and this moose while catching a bunch of rainbow trout, white fish, salmon and Dolly Varden.
This is the most fun part of our season!

What’s your normal bead setup? I found this on the river yesterday (so it’s not my setup). I have never used a smaller bead to beg my normal hard bead in place except for soft beads. I also think this hook is a little big for trout fishing (looks like a size 2). I don’t like using big hooks for trout because they tear up the smaller trout and dollies. I do like using a micro swivel. What’s your thoughts on this setup? Peach Pearl for the win? 🏆
