The Outlaws went down to Springfield for the 4 x 4 Rugby sevens tournament and finished one and two on the day. The boys beat the Springfield Mudpuppies 19 to 17 before losing to two very experienced sides from Kansas City, RFC and the Arkansas Griffins.  The Outlaws will be back in action on June 27 when we travel to Iowa City for Block Party 7s. Join us for our next training session this coming Tuesday at 6 PM at Gans Creek recreation area. All athletes welcome no rugby experience required.

Our youth rugby summer camp with Columbia Parks and Rec starts this evening at Gans Creek Recreation Area from 6-7:30 and continues every Monday this summer through July 27. It’s not too late to register for camp. “This summer, the Outlaws will host an eight-week youth rugby clinic on Monday nights at Gans Creek in partnership with Columbia Rugby and the Columbia Youth Parks and Recreation Department for boys and girls ages 5 to 12…’For the younger kids it’s all non-contact and it’s flag,’ Noe says. “They’re really just working on getting good passes, playing a good, solid defense”
