The first racing circuit ever built. Brooklands: Abandoned but never forgotten.

Built in 1907 in Weybridge, Surrey, Brooklands was the world's first purpose-built motor racing circuit. It predates Indianapolis and Monza . It was the "Ascot of Motorsport" — 2.75 miles of concrete banking, 100 feet wide, with corners up to 30 feet high .
