We found the culprits that chewed holes in the liner giving us tilted ice. Although it did add a training element of uphill skating🤣, the aesthetics of the ice bugged me all season. The dogs, the boy and I exterminated 8 of these varments tonight while taking down The PIG. The yard outside the rink is pretty tore up from them.

We raised the white flag to Mother Nature earlier this month, today was the day to officially cut the chord. The season was very difficult to manage ice conditions but we managed to hit our goal of 100 days of ice on February 28th. We did skate on March 1st for a total of 101 days of ice. We are not sure of what the future holds for “The Pig” but we will keep you posted.
