A HISTORIC NIGHT FOR SWMO RUSH!

This past weekend marked a special first in SWMO Rush history as two players developed through our club took the field against each other in an MLS NEXT match!

Tristan Johnson | Sporting Kansas City Academy
Gael Donjuan | St. Louis CITY SC Academy

The two former SWMO Rush teammates faced off as their MLS academies competed in a preseason friendly, a pretty incredible full-circle moment for these two players, their families, former coaches, and our entire club.

Tristan and Gael both grew up in the SWMO Rush system, developing their game through the Rush Way before earning opportunities at the MLS Academy level.

Seeing two SWMO Rush developed players competing on the same field at the next level is a proud moment for our club and a great example of where hard work, development, and opportunity can lead.

Our U7 & U8 SWMO Rush Youth Academy kicks off TODAY, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome all of our young players to the field!
