A fully finished, sharp sword, ready for a new owner.

Specifications:
• Overall length: 128 cm
• Blade length: 95 cm
• Weight: 1500 g
• Blade steel: 51CrV4 spring steel
• Heat treated to approx. 50–51 HRC
• Crossguard and pommel: C45 steel
• Leather-wrapped grip
• Sharpened blade

The sword is ready for immediate sale, but I can still make some individual changes before shipping — for example a different grip colour or a different pommel/crossguard design.

I can also make a complete scabbard with suspension system for an additional €450.

Daniel Maldonado De La Rosa was one of the best sparring partners, technique practice partners and co-instructors . We would expend hours at my house on my home town of Caguas or somewhere on the island at a creek, sport center, tropical forest, beach , the roof of another friends house....First studying and trying to unravel and understand the technique , the context and language of the source and weapon we were working on....then rehearsing and repeating over and over until we got a good working interpretation and the we would add on all that possible permutations and corollaries . We were in perfect sync and we understood each other martial body language . He had a background on TKD and traditional karate , as well as Softcombat and we studied together at the same Kendo dojo. We always look for each others safety FIRST and FOREMOST , we were each other more stern critic and we were also each others coaches and peers. Finding a practice partner like than on any martial art is rare.
