Our group was extraordinarily fortunate to have viewed many of the animals up close and in significant numbers. We dove with sharks and observed healthy ocean ecosystems albeit the weather was a bit sporty. We all came back well fed and having made some new friends both in the group and abroad. South Africa has left its mark on our souls.

We are now in Scottburgh, South Africa diving on the Aliwal Shoal. Here is a quick video from today.

South Africa is amazing. Cape Town, Cape of Good Hope, Table Mtn. Weather has been very cooperative. Although we didn’t get any good photos we have seen Bronze Whaler Sharks, Seals and a mom and calf Southern Right Whales. More to come…. Today we are moving to Durban.
