🌾⛳ **Proud Moment at Spring Valley Golf Course!** ⛳🌾

We’re absolutely thrilled (and more than a little speechless) to share that our very own **Bob Rupakus** has been named **Fairway Mower of the Month — THREE MONTHS IN A ROW** with recognition in *Fairway Mower Monthly*! 🏆🔥

This national recognition is truly unprecedented in the entire U.S. golf industry… and completely humbling. Bob’s quiet dedication, meticulous attention to every blade of grass, and that famous calm focus behind the wheel of his Toro have put Spring Valley on the map in the best possible way.

Bob, you make the fairways look effortless. 🙏💚

Here’s to the man, the machine, and the streak that no one saw coming.

🎉 Big news for Spring Valley! 🎉

If you’ve noticed the letter "Y" proudly hanging on our very own Spring Valley Golf Course "Hollywood" sign, it was placed there by none other than Spring Valley’s favorite son, Dean Madson! ⛳️⭐️

There is truly no one more proud of Spring Valley, more devoted to promoting our town, or more representative of our community than Dean. In fact, the entire idea for the Spring Valley "Hollywood" sign came directly from him—we certainly weren't clever enough to think of it ourselves! It takes a brilliant and humble man like Dean to bring a vision like that to life. (And I think we can all agree that his wife, Sandy, is one lucky lady! 😉❤️)

Knowing Dean, we weren't at all surprised that he requested the following note be included in this post verbatim:

"Dean and his Father, Clarence, are the only known father/son Charter Members of the Spring Valley Golf Course. Clarence scored a hole-in-one in one, at the age of 81, during Monday golf league.

Love, Dean"

When you see Dean around at Dam Days, be sure to give him a high five and let him know how much you appreciate the great idea that resulted in "Y" Spring Valley now has its very own "Hollywood" sign! 🥳👏⛳️

⛳️ "E" IS FOR EMERSON! ⛳️

Did you know? The "E" in our Spring Valley Golf Course "Hollywood" sign stands for the one and only, absolute best golf course Superintendent of all time: Bill Emerson! 🙌⭐

This year marks 40 incredible years of Bill pouring his heart and soul into Spring Valley—the very same course his father, Dr. Gordon Emerson, helped design. 🌳⛳️

Nobody has put more blood, sweat, and tears into keeping these greens pristine than Bill. In every way that truly matters, this course belongs to him. Spring Valley is the incredible place it is today because of Bill's vision, hard work, and endless dedication. 📈💚

Next time you see Bill out on or off the course, make sure to give him a high five and a BIG thank you for 40 legendary years! 👏🍻🎉

The suspense is almost over! 🔤✨

The final two letters, "E" and "Y", are officially being hung on Thursday, September 17th—just in time to complete the sign right before Dam Days! 🎈🎉

We'll only give you one guess on who gets to hang the letter "E". Let's be honest... there’s literally only one person to choose, beyond a shadow of any doubt! 😉

As for the letter "Y"? That honor goes to the single most famous Spring Valleyite to have ever lived here—a very well-known hometown legend. 🌟👀

Do you think you know who it is? Drop your guesses in the comments below! 👇💭
