The Glass Urban Oasis, Spring Grove Borough's new Pocket Park, was dedicated on Friday Oct 16th in honor of Robert Glass.

Fifty-five years ago, Robert began his career mowing grass at our wastewater treatment plant. Over time, he took on additional responsibilities, becoming the backup sewer plant operator and working weekends to help keep the plant running smoothly.

His journey reflects the kind of dedication, hard work, and commitment to public service that often happens behind the scenes but makes a lasting difference in our community.

We dedicate this beautiful space in his name, we recognize not only the years of service Robert has given, but also the lasting legacy he leaves behind. The name Glass Urban Oasis is a fitting tribute—a place where people can pause, relax, and enjoy a little green space in the heart of our community.

Robert, thank you for your many years of service and for being part of our community’s story.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who made the Spring Grove YMCA's Annual Pumpkin Trail such a success! We had an absolute BLAST! 🎃✨

We loved seeing all of the awesome costumes, bright smiles, and hearing the laughter throughout the trail. We can't wait to do it all again next year!
