🏆 PUT SOME RESPECT ON THE CHAMP.

There were some great performances around the league this season, but when we’re talking 2026 LEAGUE MVP, Jacob “JT” Ta’ase deserves that crown. 👑

JT didn’t just put up numbers…he led the Spokane Wolfpack to a championship.

When the lights got brighter, so did he.

In the Championship Game alone:
🔥 291 passing yards
🔥 2 passing TDs
🔥 77 rushing yards
🔥 2 rushing TDs
🏆 4 total touchdowns- CHAMPIONSHIP WON.

And that came after helping lead the Wolfpack through the regular season and playoffs to a 9–1 championship season.

MVP means more than a stat line. It’s production. Leadership. Winning. And showing up when everything is on the line.

JT DID ALL OF IT.

Give the man his crown. 👑🏆

JACOB “JT” TA’ASE- 2026 LEAGUE MVP.

The Spokane Wolfpack believes in using sports to strengthen and support our community.

We appreciate Dan Dickau and the Shoot 360 Spokane team for bringing together Tyson Degenhart, Jeremy Jones, Killian Tillie, Anton Watson, Teryn Gardner, and Ryan Lafferty to support young people and families impacted by the Spokane fires.

These past and present college basketball standouts including athletes who have represented Gonzaga University and currently competing at the NBA level gave their time to help local kids experience a day of basketball, connection, and normalcy.

Proceeds from the clinic will be donated to those impacted by the fires, and Shoot 360 Spokane is also accepting donations of new or gently used sports equipment and clothing.

Helping young people return to the sports and routines they love is an important part of recovery.

This is bigger than basketball. This is community.

MORE THAN FOOTBALL. COMMUNITY FIRST.

While our community was responding to the recent fires, the Spokane Wolfpack was proud to stand alongside The Way to Justice and SERA for their Annual Community Celebration at Underhill Park.

Wolfpack players and staff provided security throughout the event, helping create a safe environment and ensuring operations ran smoothly as more than 4,000 pairs of shoes and backpacks were distributed to local youth and families.

At a time when many families were facing uncertainty and preparing for a new school year, this event was about more than supplies. It was about bringing the community together, restoring a sense of normalcy and making sure young people felt supported.

For the Wolfpack, community service isn’t separate from football, it’s part of our foundation. Championship culture is measured not only by what we accomplish on the field, but by how we show up when our community needs us.

Thank you to The Way to Justice and CEO Virla Spencer, SERA, the volunteers, sponsors and community partners who made this incredible event possible.

Our hearts are with everyone impacted by the devastating fires across the Spokane area.

Many of our players, coaches, families, and supporters have been affected by evacuation notices, smoke, and the uncertainty these fires have brought to our community. We know that some families have lost homes, and countless others are still waiting and hoping for good news.

The Spokane Wolfpack has always been about more than football. We are a family, and when our community hurts, we hurt with it.

Please continue to pray for the firefighters, first responders, emergency personnel, volunteers, and every family affected. If you are under evacuation orders, please stay safe and follow the guidance of local officials.

If you are a member of the Wolfpack family and need assistance, or if you’re in a position to help another family, please reach out. This is what community is all about standing together when it matters most.

Spokane Strong. Wolfpack Strong. 💙🐺
