Join us on Saturday, July 18th from 2:30-3:30PM at the ISCC featuring the future of figure skaters that call Connecticut their home! Tickets are only $10! Children under age 5 are free.

This unique event offers fans an opportunity to see national and world-class athletes perform live right here in Simsbury! Live performances from:
⭐ Aboian & Veselukhin – Reigning 2026 World Junior Ice Dance Champions
⭐ Tali & Lafornara – 2025 World Junior Ice Dance Champions and one of the world's premier young dance teams
⭐ Vaclavikova & Lissauer – 2026 U.S. National Medalists and rising stars on the national and international stage
⭐ Joline Von Felten – 2025 U.S. Junior Champion and ISCC's newest athlete!

🧑‍🩰The ballet class is designed specifically for figure skaters looking to improve their artistry, posture, flexibility, balance, and overall presentation on the ice. June 19, July 1, 6, and 8 @ 12:30 PM

Congrats to Vladimir and Elena Petrenko who just received two awards at the 2026 U.S. Figure Skating Impact Summit in Colorado.

They received the "Impact Award for Resilience" which honors the strength, perseverance, and ability to overcome challenges both on and off the ice.

And the "Wings of Excellence Impact Award" which recognizes the lasting contributions and legacy of Vadim Naumov, Evgenia Shishkova, Inna Volyanskaya, and Alexandr “Sasha” Kirsanov, whose influence on the figure skating community continues to inspire so many.

The transformation for the Sk8 To Elimin8 Cancer Ice Show at the ISCC is nothing short of incredible. ⛸️✨

It begins late Thursday night as the final adult hockey game ends, by Friday morning, an amazing behind-the-scenes effort is already underway — the hockey glass comes down, on-ice seating platform is installed, lights are programmed, bunting and seating are carefully arranged.

Come Saturday, final touches are in place after skaters get their practice sessions. The doors open, the crowd pours in, and anticipation fills the building. For 2 and a half magical hours, the arena becomes a stage filled with lights, music, talent, and inspiration — all in support of an incredible cause. When the final applause fades, the work begins again. Seats are stacked, the on-ice platform is removed, lighting rigs come down, and crews work through the night to reset the arena once more.

By late Sunday morning, the hockey glass is back in place, the nets are up, the ice is cut, and youth hockey players take the ice before lunchtime — as if the transformation never happened.

An enormous thank you to every staff member, volunteer, production crew member, coach, skater, and supporter who makes this event possible - every single moment is worth it. ❤️⛸️
