Temps swing drastically in the Gila, and we're making sure you'll be ready for a warm afternoon.

✅ Every runner gets an ice bandana.
✅ Every aid station will have ice so you can refill your bandana.

Whether you're running the 100 or the 50, these will be with your bib when you pick up your race packet.

📢 Calling all 100-mile runners!

Every Gila 100-mile finisher gets one of these beautiful buckles and this rad hat.

Have you signed up yet? We're stoked to see so many people signing up from all over the country, and cannot wait to hand you your buckle and hat at the finish line!!

Last weekend I had a blast running the Philmont 50-mile trail race up in Cimarron, NM!

Have you checked out this race yet? It supports Philmont Scout Ranch and the Boy Scouts of America, with all proceeds benefiting the 140,000 acre adventure camp.

Have we mentioned how awesome the trails are looking for the Gila 100 & 50 mile race this fall?? 😍

We made a course change for the 100-mile course this year, and we kept the most beautiful part of the course on the map!
This course change will allow more access points for the 100-mile runners so their crew can support easier. It also provides more chances to be cheered on by spectators, easier (and safer!) access for our crew and volunteers, and more amenities at aid stations.

Also... we may have extended the cut off time for the 50-mile racers. Any power hikers want to give 50 miles a try? 👀

BIG news! 👀
We're scouting out and planning a 50k trail race for 2027! (In addition to our other races)

Yes, 2027 is a ways away, but scouting, permitting, and overall planning takes time.

We're so excited to be able to bring you more race opportunities of all distances to help more people get out and experience the Gila.

Hey there! I'm Genia, long-time ultra-runner and 2025 finisher of the Gila 100!

This year, I'll be helping Ryan (who happens to be my hubby) coordinate the Gila 100/50, so you'll probably see me more at the start/finish line and aid stations instead of along the course.

Happy June! We've been quiet on here since Trail Days, but rest assured we've been busy making plans for the upcoming Gila 100 and 50 mile race, as well as some new races on the horizon!

We've also been running (a lot!) and testing out some sections on the 100 & 50 mile race course. We're happy to report the trails are in great shape, thanks to some hard working trail crews. 🥰
