Yes, we teach skills.

But if that’s all our athletes leave Elite with, we haven’t done our job.

We want them to leave with confidence. Work ethic. Resilience. Teammates who became best friends. Coaches who became family. And memories they’ll carry long after they perform their last routine.

They come through our doors as kids learning skills…

And somehow, right before our eyes, they grow up. 🥹💙

We’re proud of the skills we teach.

But we’re even more proud of the people they become along the way.

It’s drills. Shapes. Repetition. Basics. And doing the same thing over and over until your body finally understands it.

But here’s the thing…

The basics aren’t “just basics.” They’re where GREAT athletes are built.

At Elite, we’re not interested in rushing an athlete to the next skill just so we can say they have it.

We want to build athletes who are strong, confident and prepared for everything that comes next.

Because when the foundation is right, there’s no telling how high they can go. Harper has put the work in to build her foundation and we are so lucky to get a front seat to her success! 💙🖤

We want our athletes to know that struggling with a skill doesn’t mean you’re failing.

It means you’re learning. Everyone starts somewhere. If it was easy, everyone would do it.

At Elite, we’re not afraid of the messy middle because we’ve seen what can happen on the other side of it. From the moment Graycie walked in our gym all those years ago, she worked, she trusted, and she never gave up. Now she’s another one of our seniors headed to continue cheerleading in college!

16 years ago, this little girl walked into our gym. Every single skill she accomplished has been within Elite walls as we grew along the years. Behind every athlete who makes it look easy today is a coach who remembers the hard days.

Someone taught the first drill.
Spotted the first attempt.
Fixed the technique.
Celebrated the little wins.
And kept saying “again” until it finally clicked.

At Elite, our coaches don’t just teach skills. They get to know their athletes. They know when to push, when to encourage and when an athlete needs someone to believe in them a little more than they believe in themselves.

Great coaching isn’t measured by where an athlete starts. It’s measured by how far you can help them go. Makalie is the perfect example of what our culture builds. She believed. She trusted. She grew. And next year, we are confident she will be cheering at a Division 1 college.💙
