Hey Rodeo Museum Followers, we have some new information regarding our hours of operation for the winter:

This weekend during Sikeston's Downtown Holiday Open House will be our last days with our usual business hours. After this weekend, we will be operating "by appointment only" until May! If you have a group that wants to tour the museum, don't hesitate to call and schedule an appointment!

This transition will give staff time to focus on the implementation of a new field-trip program, make museum updates, restock our gift shop, and make it bigger and better for our 2027 summer season! We have some great ideas up our sleeve, so stay tuned!

This week we are open Wednesday-Saturday 10:00-2:00, with special hours from 5:00pm-7:00pm Friday night for the Holiday Open House! Come see us!

Fun Fact Friday:
One of the very first strategies of advertising for the Bootheel Rodeo was executed by "buying some air time." The club decided to hire an airplane to fly a 300-mile radius around Sikeston ad drop flyers advertising the rodeo! ✈️
