Saturday September 5th we are running a fun Lewis shoot for Diane's retirement!! And what do ya know.... It'll be on "Diane's Course!" Win some of that money back! Come have some fun shooting, eating, buying raffle tickets for the basket raffles and 50/50 and congratulating Diane on her retirement. Well...... mostly retirement 😁 Registration will run from 8am until 3pm. Registration is open on ScoreChaser, or just come that day to sign up!
We are still accepting items to put in baskets or full baskets for this event if you want to donate anything. We appreciate it!

For all of you that have been asking, here are the results of the Navarino Nature Center fundraiser from Saturday. Thank you all for coming and supporting!

Thank you again to all who participated in our 16th Annual Sporting Clay Shoot this past Saturday. It was a great day, and the support is greatly appreciated!

Here are the results from the shoot with Lewis class style scoring.

Results will also be posted by J&H Game Farm.

Yellow highlighted names are prize winners and should be seeing their prizes in the mail shortly.

This coming Saturday we have a great fundraiser for the Navarino Nature Center. Extra prizes awarded. This is open to the public but no pressure because we also have open shooting available all day as well.

August is coming up fast! Here's what we've got going on this month:

August 9 - Hortonville Football Fundraiser - public welcome to participate. Open shooting available
August 15 - Navarino Nature Center Fundraiser - public welcome to participate. Open shooting available
August 22 - Closing early at 2:30pm for Amanda's wedding
August 23 - League party - Open shooting available

Kitchen will be closed the following days in August: 7, 12, 13, 14
Kitchen will be closing EARLY the following days:
6th @ 1:00pm
8th @ 2:00pm
22nd @ 1:30pm

Steve, Diane & Amanda will be gone from August 6-9 for the WI State Sporting Clays Championship (Good Luck!!).
They will also be gone August 10-17 to help out at the U.S. Open Sporting Clays Championship. Terry will be here to keep things running smoothly at J&H and he can't wait to see all your smiling faces! Kathy will be here on the weekends in the kitchen to keep your bellies full. Thank you both for holding down the fort while we are gone!

Did you know that Steve gives FREE lessons to Ladies and Youth?!? This young lady was visiting from Tennessee, 11 years old and wanted to try shooting some sporting clays sooo bad! Steve took her out (along with Dad) and she did great! Pretty sure she is hooked. :)

So, any ladies and youth, call to ask if Steve is available any time we are open for you to take lessons. You just need to pay for your shells (or bring your own) and the targets that you shoot.

Diane and Amanda went to the NAGA conference this week. It was great to hear speakers talk about upland game habitats, pens, sporting clays courses, generational businesses, values and political issues that affect both hunt clubs as well as hunters.

It is so important for people to stay involved and understand what happens in different bills that could pass that affect us. NAGA has worked hard to protect bird producers, hunt clubs and hunters. We appreciate everything they do, which is why we are involved in the association.

We learned a lot and hope to implement some great things we have learned. We also had a great time with some great food at the conference. Great learning getaway for us!

Diane and Amanda will not be back quite in time tomorrow (Thursday) to open the kitchen. So it will remain closed. Sorry for any inconvenience.

We don't want them falling asleep driving through the night! The NAGA conference was very informative and we can't wait to get home tomorrow afternoon!
