Bravo Kyla! You demonstrated exceptional dedication at the Eastern NASP Nationals in Kentucky, an event that drew over 15,000 students with nearly another 4,000 competing at the Western Nationals. NASP's strong support for academic excellence is reflected in its significant scholarship awards.

Your achievement as one of 185 recipients out of 19,000 participants earned you a $500 scholarship for continuing your education after high school.

Please continue to be a great role model for your teammates!!!

What an awesome weekend in Kentucky for two of the Shiocton NASP Archery kids. With over 15,000 kids converging to compete at the Eastern NASP Nationals in KY.

Kinsley & Kyla headed down for the CenterShot bullseye competition on Friday. Kinsley got a new personal best 205. Kyla was part of 9 way tie with a score of 273 landing her in 74th place out of 439 middle school girls.

On Saturday Kyla gave it a run, finishing with a 271; just shy of qualifying for the Championships in Daytona Beach. She stayed positive focusing on each arrow and is looking forward to next season.

While the score may not have been the results Kyla was hoping for, the weekend was an amazing opportunity that all her hard work this past season earned her. I am proud of her. Keep working hard and the rewards will be great!!

The countdown to the Nationals in Louisville, Kentucky, commences: 15 days remain until two of our members depart for the NASP Nationals. Kyla and Kinsley will participate in the Center Shot bullseye tournament. Kyla has also secured a bid to compete in the Nationals Bullseye rounds, following her top 10 finish among Middle School girls at the WI State Tournament in The Dells in March. Congratulations are in order, as both individuals have dedicated considerable effort to preparation.

In light of the record-breaking flooding in Shiocton, we request that you keep our teammates, their families, and friends in your thoughts and prayers. The predicted crest of 15.5 feet is approximately a foot higher than the existing record. The response from our community and neighboring areas has been phenomenal, with numerous volunteers converging on our neighboring fire departments to lend support. The efficient organization and traffic management were noteworthy, and we appreciate the dedication of those involved in the relief efforts.
