Day 13 of building a golf performance facility in Pittsburgh.

For the last year, optimism has always come with an asterisk.

Every step forward seemed to uncover another challenge, another decision, another reason to pump the brakes before getting too excited.

So when Tim said he’s finally feeling optimistic, he was quick to add one important word:

Cautiously.

And honestly, that’s probably the best way to describe this stage of the project.

There’s still a lot to do. There will still be obstacles. Construction isn’t finished, the building isn’t open, and the work certainly isn’t slowing down.

But for the first time, it feels different.

The plans are becoming reality. The vision is taking shape. The progress is visible every single day.

We’re still being cautious.

But we’re finally allowing ourselves to be optimistic too.

Day 10 of building a golf performance facility in Pittsburgh.

Sir Digs A Lot was hard at work today as foundation preparation officially began and some major progress was made on site.

It’s exciting to see the physical transformation happening, but what most people don’t see is everything happening behind the scenes at the same time.

While the excavators are moving dirt, we’re finalizing renderings, planning apparel, meeting with coaches, refining programming, and building the systems that will make this facility a place golfers can learn, train, compete, and connect.

The girls spent part of the day watching the project unfold in front of their eyes—a reminder that this vision is becoming reality one day at a time.

Ten days into construction.

Nearly two years into the dream.

And we’re just getting started.

Today’s mission: removing the retaining wall beams.

At this point, one thing has become clear...

This excavator is going to be a recurring character in our construction updates.

The problem is, we haven’t named it yet.

POV: You’re watching a grown-up claw machine.

The objective? Grab a retaining wall post that’s been buried in the ground for years.

The catch? Instead of taking 10 seconds and costing $1, it takes a giant machine, several hours, and a lot of patience.

Today’s prize: one less post standing in the way of the future home of Elite Golf Performance.

Slowly but surely, we’re clearing the way for what’s next.

Day 6 of construction.

But honestly, this project is closer to Day 700.

For nearly two years, we’ve been planning, dreaming, designing, and preparing for what Elite Golf Performance - Pittsburgh can become.

While the building is just getting started, our coaches and golfers aren’t waiting around. Coach Colin continues helping clients improve, our partnership with Avoda continues to grow, and the excitement for what’s ahead keeps building.

The facility may still be under construction.

The future of Elite Golf Performance isn’t.

No progress on site today, so Little Timmy decided to grab the keys and get to work himself.

We’re still waiting on permits for that 🤦🏻‍♀️

Hopefully tomorrow brings a little more progress and a little less supervision required.
