SUMMER PERFORMANCE PLAN

Starting Monday, June 8th • 4:00 PM
SHS Turf Pitch

This 9-week performance program is built to keep our athletes explosive, fast, and bulletproof through elite speed, agility, bodyweight, dumbbell, and kettlebell training.

Athletes will develop acceleration, conditioning, power, durability, and game-speed endurance to dominate on the pitch all summer long. We Build Champions

WHY STRENGTH COMPLEXES ARE SO BENEFICIAL FOR ATHLETES

1. BUILD GAME-SPEED CONDITIONING

Strength complexes keep athletes moving under load with limited rest, training the body to produce power while fatigued — just like in competition.

2. DEVELOP EXPLOSIVE POWER + ENDURANCE

Combining movements like cleans, presses, squats, swings, and carries trains athletes to stay explosive repeatedly, not just for one rep.

3. IMPROVE TRANSITION STRENGTH

Sports require athletes to sprint, cut, jump, decelerate, and react continuously. Complexes teach athletes to transfer force efficiently between movements.

4. INCREASE WORK CAPACITY

Athletes recover faster between plays, quarters, sets, and matches because complexes challenge both the muscular and cardiovascular systems simultaneously.

On Mondays we squat.

These slides are a great depiction of how we scale from 6th grade to 8th grade & finally high school.

Programming is also dependent on the client. Some have a greater training age(more time under the bar) than others.
