Time between clients spent mentoring our teacher training students. ❤️

Learning the exercises, order, and choreography is the foundation. But teaching Pilates requires more than just knowing the exercises.

We teach our students to observe, ask questions, understand the “why,” and make decisions based on the person in front of them. 👀

There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to teaching. Our goal is to help students develop the critical thinking and confidence to find their own teaching voice. 🧠

📌Winter 2027 Teacher Training applications are now open.

🗓️Starting this January. Link in bio to learn more and apply.

✨ What a weekend with our Summer 2026 Teacher Training cohort!

After building a strong foundation on the Mat, we officially moved to the Reformer! 🌀

Adding springs brings a whole new dimension to the work—immediate feedback, balance, resistance, and a deeper understanding of the system.

From thoughtful questions and discussions to those ✨ lightbulb moments ✨ when theory meets practice, it was an incredible weekend in the studio!

Winter 2027 Teacher Training applications + pre-enrollment are officially OPEN.

Are you using tactile cues that actually stop your clients from moving? 👋

We’re just a few weeks away from our Fall Workshop:

Tactile Cues to Guide Movement
4 Hours | 4 CECs

This workshop was born from watching social media trends and hearing from teachers who feel like heavy-handed cueing is the “right” way to teach.

But tactile cueing should guide movement—not force it or stop it.

We’ll explore:

✨ Self-Directed Movement — See what the body does before you intervene.
✨ Apparatus Feedback — Let the springs, straps, and equipment provide information.
✨ Targeted Guidance — Learn when and where your hands can genuinely help.

Come explore the why and how of tactile cueing through the lens of Traditional Pilates teaching.

📍 In-Studio — limited spots
💻 Live on Zoom
🎥 On-Demand — 30-day recording access

You don’t have to “forget everything you learned” to master the Traditional Pilates system. 🧠✨

In fact, we think your previous training is part of the conversation.

If you’re already a Pilates teacher and wondering, “Is a Bridge & Mentorship Program right for me?” — this is exactly who we created it for.

Our 1-year program is designed to help you connect the dots, deepen your understanding, refine your eye, and study the Traditional system without starting over from square one.

Here’s what makes it different:

🤝 Synthesis, not erasure. We don’t ask you to abandon your previous training. We help you analyze it, question it, and bridge it with the depth of the Traditional lineage.

🔥 10 Monthly Practicums | 40 Hours
Hands-on studio intensives progressing from foundational Mat through the full apparatus.

💡 Monthly Integration Seminars
Go beyond what we teach and dig into the why behind different methodologies.

🎯 Personalized Mentorship
Three private sessions with our Program Director + ongoing support throughout the year.

📚 Deep-Dive Study
Applied anatomy, archival foundations, special populations, and detailed exercise analysis.

You already have a foundation.

Now, let’s build precision, authority, and renewed confidence in how you teach. 💫

Is this your year to study the system?

Watching the “aha!” moments during assisted teaching hours is one of our favorite parts of the journey. ✨

Our students are officially stepping onto the studio floor, putting their knowledge into practice and building real-world teaching experience.

Mentorship at TPMC goes far beyond memorizing exercises. We’re teaching our students to observe, ask questions, adapt, and think on their feet. 🔎

☝️And that takes a LOT of practice, dedication, and a commitment to the art of teaching and learning the Pilates method.

Because there’s no one-size-fits-all answer when you’re teaching real human bodies. 🔑 Learning to truly see and teach the body in front of you takes time, experience, and patience.

Watching our students develop that critical thinking and find their own voice is what we’re all about. 🤍

✨ Winter 2027 applications are OPEN!

Our next cohort begins this January.

This month we’re highlighting one of our favorite progressions: Push Through Prep into the Push Through Roll Back.

🛠️ Gratz Pilates Apparatus of the Month: The Push Through Bar on the Cadillac

The Push Through Bar is one of the best teachers in the Pilates system. As the bar moves, it reveals how the body organizes itself—where movement begins, where connection is maintained, and where control starts to fade.

Why start with the Prep?

✨ It reveals the story. The Prep shows us how the shoulders, spine, pelvis, and feet work together before adding more range.

✨ It exposes the missing link. We can see exactly where mobility, stability, or control is lost, giving us a clear direction for what the client needs.

✨ It builds the pathway. What we learn in the Prep helps create a more organized, connected Push Through Roll Back.

💡 Why we love it

For hypermobile clients, the spring provides boundaries and encourages dynamic stability.

For clients seeking mobility, it offers support and traction, helping them find length without forcing range.

Why Gratz?

The honest tension of the Gratz springs provides incredible feedback. The springs don’t do the work—they help both teacher and client recognize when connection is lost and when it has been restored.

✨ Teachers and practitioners: How do you use Push Through Prep in your studio? We’d love to hear your thoughts below! 👇
