In a world addicted to busy... And “not enough time”
BE a rebel.
Pushing harder at the expense of your already overloaded nervous system Is NOT a plan for living your best life.
In her book “Rushing Woman’s Syndrome”, Dr. Libby Weaver, a nutritional biochemist emphasizes that the constant “to do list” pushes women into chronic, low-grade stress that triggers hormonal, physical and emotional challenges.
We’ve all been there, and at some point, often too late, that pushing harder is NOT sustainable for the long haul.
As a recovering people-pleaser, I’ve crashed and burned a couple of times as a result of trying to be everything to everyone. Early on, as a Human Resources exec working insane hours. Then later, as a busy mom- keeping everything together while juggling an active coaching practice.
And I’ve seen it in my clients too – the desire to stay in roles and relationships much longer than prudent, to not rock the boat.
In all these cases, when we step off of the hamster wheel and slow down long enough to commit to what’s most important– the symptoms subside, mental and physical health return, relationships blossom and our joy factor elevates.
That’s why I bring women on retreat—
to hit the reset button and allow them to see that they are already whole and worthy
– no need to prove anything or run to the finish line.
And when the mind and body calm – we see things more clearly and are able to find creative solutions to our most pressing challenges.
If this speaks to you and you’ve been on the hamster wheel of life and craving a moment for yourself –
Join us for our upcoming Wild Feminine Awakening retreat to Thailand this July.
It’s designed to reset your nervous system, come back to your strength, build resiliency and see things anew.
What would improve in your life if you gave yourself the gift of pause?
Registration closes June 7th.
