That's a wrap on a great clinic weekend with Troy & Alex Akin. 💥
Over three days, our courts were packed with players working on the stuff that actually moves your game — deep serves and returns, third-shot drops and drives, resets through the transition zone, fast hands at the kitchen, and the patient dinking that sets up the big point.
One reminder that stuck with everyone: the drop isn't dead. It doesn't have to be perfect — a decent drop followed by a reset still gets you up to the kitchen line.
But if you were there, you know it was as fun as it was productive — drills like Inchworm, Butterfly Dinks, the Kitchen Game and 4-person hands battles kept the energy up, with a court full of people at every level figuring it out side by side and cheering each other on. That's the Dynamite part.
Couldn't make it, or want to keep practicing what we covered? Troy made a free 4-part video series, "4 Days to 4.0," that walks through a lot of the same ideas. We'll drop the link in the comments.
Big thanks to everyone who came out — this is exactly why we do this. Keep an eye out for the next one.
