Sometimes it’s worth looking back.

Long before becoming Artistic Directors of Southern California Ballet, Martha Leebolt and Toby Batley spent their careers performing on stages around the world — experiences that, along the way, saw their work featured on the covers of some of the dance world’s leading publications, including Dancing Times and Dance Europe.

These covers are from more than a decade ago, but the experience behind them is very much part of SCB today.

The lessons learned through years of performing, creating, rehearsing and working with extraordinary artists are now being passed on to the next generation of dancers here in San Diego.

Experience passed forward.
