Varsity Martial Arts League Junior Varsity, Varsity and Collegiate Martial Arts Letters. A portion of the proceeds from the VMAL will be donated to TEMAS in direct support of scholarships.

TEMAS is taking another great step to the leveling of the playing field for the athlete participating in the martial arts by presenting the Varsity Martial Arts League (VMAL). “The martial arts athlete have earned the right to level the playing field and to be recognized among the most dedicated athletes,” shared Brian Manna, TEMAS Executive Director. “Week in week out the martial artist is puttin

g in the hours to train their mind and body for personal development and compete in a sport that they love, at the same time sharing and building the members they train beside.”
These programs are open to martial arts athletes in all styles and disciplines who are enrolled in 8th grade through continued education and are currently VMAL members or become VMAL members. The program will run June 1-May 31 of each year, and will honor those who document their training and competition involvement by awarding emblems, pins and award certificates. They are designed to be worn on existing letterman’s jackets, or any jacket of the athletes’ choosing, as a symbol of achievement. The Varsity Martial Arts League (VMAL) has teamed up with many martial arts organizations, and The Educational Martial Arts System, Inc. (TEMAS), a 501( c)(3) non profit to provide the martial arts community recognition for the years of personal and community development. www.vmal.org

Saturday July 8, 2017 A group of Manna's Martial Arts members and Instructors traveled to San Bernardino in support of Senior Master Price and Grandmaster Khalid's Championship.
I could not be more proud of the manner, protocol, martial attitude with which they displayed and supported the event. Their technique, crispness and warrior spirit was recognized with the collection of more than 60 medals through their competitions.
Thank you to Senior Master Chris Brandt, Senior Master Janet Manna and 4th Dan Alex Zoppi for their support and guidance toward the participants.
All showed great care, humility and competitiveness.
