Yesterday was special. πβ€οΈ
We had over 45 students come out to our free basketball camp at the Hemisphere, and honestly⦠it was so much fun.
We got to teach basketball. We worked on skills, competed, learned, and grew.
But we also got to teach something just as important:
π How to make new friends.
π How to introduce yourself.
π How to encourage someone else.
π How to step outside your comfort zone.
π How to be part of a community.
Basketball has a way of bringing people together. Kids who had never met before were laughing, competing, and encouraging each other within minutes.
Thatβs what Personal Records is all about.
Yes, we want to help kids become better basketball players.
But we also want to help them become more confident, more positive, more disciplined, and better people.
Thank you to everyone who came out and made yesterday so special. Thank you to the parents who trusted us with your kids, and thank you to every athlete who brought energy, effort, and a willingness to have fun.
45+ kids. One court. A whole lot of basketball, laughter, and new friendships.
Yesterday was a reminder of why we do this. β€οΈπ
And weβre just getting started.
