Another big week ahead 🔥

Fast back squats and a wall ball and push-up burner to start, deadlifts and 800s on Tuesday, rope climbs midweek, a GHD and burpee grind plus post-workout bench on Thursday, and the Hero workout “Jack” to close it out.

We’re in week 3 of our deadlift cycle, and all October we’re building toward CHAD on 11/11. Wednesday’s box step-ups are great practice!

Ever notice how the voice in your head gets REALLY loud around round 7?

“Slow down.” “You’re dying.” “Just drop the bar.”

That voice isn’t the truth. It’s your brain trying to protect you. And you get to decide whether it runs the show.

Strong athletes don’t avoid the hard moments. They have something better to say when those moments show up. Pick your cue, take it one round at a time, and talk to yourself like your coach would. 💪

You can eat all the right foods and still feel like garbage in the gym if your gut isn’t on board. Bloating, sluggish energy, and a stomach that turns on you mid-WOD are often signs your gut needs a little attention.

The good news is you don’t need a cleanse, a detox, or an expensive supplement. Start by eating a wider variety of plants, adding some fermented foods, drinking your water, and slowing down at meals.

That’s not a willpower problem. That’s stress messing with your hunger cues.

When life gets heavy, don’t wait for your body to send the signal. Eat on a schedule, keep easy protein around, and give yourself a minute to breathe before you eat. Your training, your recovery, and your mood will thank you.
