Here’s how Fresh Coast CrossFit competition went for Jessica Jorgensen , Ana Paula Bonetto and Sienna this weekend.
They qualified in. That alone meant something, because qualifying means you’ve already proven you belong. But nobody walks into a weekend like this assuming anything.
Event 1 ends and they’re sitting 3rd overall. You could see it on their faces. Not celebration exactly, more like a question: wait, are we actually doing this? That’s the moment the whole thing shifted. Suddenly this wasn’t about showing up. It was about pressing forward.
Event 2 was squat variations, a balance walk, and burpees. They didn’t win it. But they placed high enough against a stacked field to climb into 1st overall by a single point.
One point. Which meant everything changed again. They weren’t chasing anymore. They were the ones being chased, and every team behind them knew exactly where to look.
Then the final event draw came out and put 1st, 2nd and 3rd in side-by-side lanes. No math, no tiebreakers, no hiding. Whoever crossed first won the whole thing. You couldn’t script it better.
And these women locked in. From the first rep it was over. Nobody had a chance.
Fresh Coast champions. Hardware headed back to the gym. Fort Miami CrossFit represented exactly the way you’d want it represented.
Special shout out to Sienna , who jumped in late when injury opened the spot and fit into this team like she’d been there the whole time.
Great job, Team 🏆. We are super proud of you !!
