On Saturday May 30th, the Dragatrons 10653 and SASA's brand new rookie FTC team, Bionic Brood 33429, competed in the off-season Midland Spring Event to cap their Decode season. They even got to compete against each other in thier very first match of the day! The Dragatrons finished matches in 1st place and became captains of Alliance #1, inviting the Clarkston Robowolves to join them for the playoffs. They continued through playoffs to win the event! They also received the first place Innovate award. Bionic Brood ended qualification matches ranked #14, but had the 7th highest EPA out of 33 teams! This rookie team is on fire! They played awesome and handled judging, scouting, and each new obstacle with confidence with their student mentors there to guide them. The future is bright for all of these amazing robotics students! We are so proud of you and can't wait to see what you do for the CANOPY season! Whether you'll be biobuzzing, or getting into the biocore, you're going to do great. 🐉

The Dragatrons had an incredible time at the FIRST Championship in Houston this past week. Meeting and collaborating with teams from across the globe was an invaluable experience and we are all so honored to have been a part of it!

Dragatrons ended qualification matches placing 22 of 57 teams on the Lovelace Division and were not selected as an alliance for the playoffs, but were thrilled to be able to spend the rest of the afternoon cheering on their high school team, Pantheon in the FRC playoffs!

Our 8th graders pulling double duty were able to hop into Pantheon's drive team for some of the playoffs as well.

We are so grateful to everyone who helped us get here and everyone who has supported us on our journey! To our coaches, parents, families, our school and our sponsors: THANK YOU! We are already preparing for our spring events and our next season!
