Physical education feels different when students can actually see their effort in real time.
At Natomas Charter School in the Natomas Unified School District, students are taking a more active role in their own learning with Heart Zones. Instead of simply participating in class, they're learning how different activity levels feel, understanding what it takes to reach moderate to vigorous physical activity (MVPA), and receiving immediate feedback that helps them make adjustments throughout the lesson.
The result is a more engaging PE experience where students are motivated to move with purpose, better understand their own fitness, and build lifelong healthy habits. By combining objective data with daily physical activity, Heart Zones helps turn every class into an opportunity for students to learn more about their bodies while having fun.
