Rio del Oro Rapids

Rio del Oro Rapids The Rio del Oro Rapids is a recreational swim team that operates at Rio del Oro Racquet Club. The 2021 Rapids season runs from March until the end of July.

The team competes in the Nor-Cal Swim League and is one of its founding members. The Nor-cal Swim League has 26 teams that compete against each other in 4 different conferences. The Rio del Oro Rapids compete in the Comstock Conference which also includes the Glen Oaks Sea Lions, the Johnson Ranch Barracudas, The Woodcreek Seawolves, and the Elk Grove Pirhanas. The first day of practice for the 20

21 season is Monday March 1st. For more information please call the club (916)488-8100. The Rapids are family oriented with many of the events and activities being designed for families. Whether it be the family water park trip, dancing to the music at the DJ and Karaoke parties, or just enjoying the competitive swim meets, there is something everyone.
