This week GRSA has some important advice about your tie-offs! 😎
Tie-offs are a crucial step in the stringing process and have to be well thought out. These tips will make the process much simpler!
Read through and take notes if needed!
16x19 frame:
If 6 holes in the throat, the mains will finish at the bottom.
If 8 holes in the throat, the mains will finish at the tip.
For crosses, the finishing cross will be on the opposite side to the starting point.
18x20 frame:
If 6 holes in the throat, the mains will finish at the top.
If 8 holes in the throat, the mains will finish at the bottom.
For crosses, the finishing cross will be on the same side as the starting point.
If there are an odd number of crosses, the finishing knot for the crosses will be on the opposite side of the starting knot.
If there are an even number of crosses, the finishing knot will be on the same side as the starting knot.
