Welcome our new Trainer, Meg O’Gara! Can’t wait for you all to work with her in the mornings and Saturdays. Well let her take it from here:

I’m a therapist and trainer who believes movement can be one of the most powerful ways we reconnect with ourselves. Originally from Connecticut, my path through Dayton and Ann Arbor eventually led me to Ferndale, where I’ve felt at home ever since.
My journey into training has grown alongside my work as a therapist, rooted in my own experience of learning how movement can support confidence, regulation, and joy - and how deeply connected mental and physical well being really are.
My approach to strength training centers the mind-body connection, building strength with intention, and helping people feel empowered while they grow. I’m happiest near a body of water, firmly believe a good playlist can drastically raise your tolerance for bulgarian split squats, and consider dancing in the kitchen my favorite form of cardio.
