As we are hosting the Michigan State APF/AAPF Meet on March 9 & 10 at the gym, we are also doing a fundraiser for Semper Fi & America’s Fund. The Fund helps our veterans that are wounded from combat, critically ill, and their families. Anyone that is able to help donate for this cause, it will be greatly appreciated. The gym is now open again, the power is back up and running. DTE found a solution to the problem of the transformer catching fire the other day. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused anyone.

Anyone that enjoys smoking ci**rs, the first African cigar is now available for sale in the United States. Bongani is the first African cigar brand. The to***co is grown in the Manica Province in Mozambique and the wrappers are sourced from Cameroon. After being rolled they are aged in cedar from Ghana.

For anyone interested in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the book, T-MINUS AI by Michael Kanaan, is a must read. A graduate of the USAF Academy, and was named to the Forbes 2019 “30 Under 30”, Mike has written one the best books around on the subject. He is currently the director of operations at the Air Force/MIT Artificial Intelligence Accelerator.

The Royal Oak Gym will reopen next week on Monday June 15th. We will open at 5am.

Unfortunately the gym will have to close at 3pm today according to Executive Order No. 2020-9 just signed by Governor Gretchen Whitmer. We will be opening back up on Tuesday March 31, 2020 at 5am. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause anyone.
