Both matter.

Calories still determine whether fat loss happens.

Hormones can influence how hard that process feels.

Low testosterone. Thyroid issues. PCOS. Poor sleep. Chronic stress.

These things don't magically stop fat loss.

What they do is:

➡️ Slow metabolism
➡️ Increase hunger
➡️ Lower energy

One of the biggest mistakes beginners make is thinking they need to go “all in” to get results.

You don’t. Especially not in the beginning.

You need to:

* move consistently
* strength train a few times a week
* focus on protein
* recover properly
* stop restarting every Monday

Fitness doesn’t have to be extreme to work at this stage

In fact, the people who get the best long-term results usually keep things simple enough to repeat.

Start simple.
Stay consistent.
That’s how real transformation happens.
