To Our Seniors - We can’t believe our last few months with you are approaching. We’ve been honored to have so much talent, strength, determination and dedication on this team and within this program. ALL four of you are continuing your cheer career after you graduate, that right there should show everyone how much you guys love this sport. You guys will greatly be missed in seasons to come. We love you 💜
💜Annie
Annie holds such a special place in my heart because she was one of the very first athletes I ever coached 14 years ago. To have the opportunity to coach her again after taking a small break from competing has honestly been such a full-circle moment for me. Annie is strong, resilient, hardworking, and always willing to push through challenges with determination. Watching her grow both as an athlete and as a young woman has been incredible. Annie will be attending Bethel University to study Elementary Education, she’ll also continue cheering. Annie, I am so proud of you and so excited to see all the amazing things ahead for you.
💜Jersey
Jersey has truly been dedicated to CFA throughout the years. No matter where life took her, she always found her way back to cheer, and I’m so grateful that journey included several years with us. Her smile is absolutely infectious, and she brought positivity and energy everywhere she went. Jersey has been such an important part of this program, and she will be deeply missed. She will be attending Ball State University to study Early Education while continuing to cheer with CFA Amethyst. Jersey, thank you for your commitment, your heart, and the joy you brought to this team. We are all cheering for you in this next chapter.
💜Mazie
Oh, my Mazie. When Mazie first joined our team, she was looking for a challenge and a change of pace. She came in quiet and a little timid, but it did not take long for her to rise to every challenge put in front of her. Over time, her confidence blossomed, and it has been so rewarding to watch. Not only has she been an athlete, but she’s also helped coach as both a junior coach and assistant coach, and the kids absolutely adore her — honestly, so do I. Mazie has made me incredibly proud in so many ways. She will be attending Anderson University to study Social Work while continuing to cheer. Mazie, your future is so bright, and I cannot wait to see the lives you impact.
💜Brooklyn
Brooklyn… this one hits a little different because she’s my daughter. She wasn’t always sure cheer was for her, and she even took several years away from the sport. Then one day, she surprised me by coming back to the mat after all that time away, and it felt like she had never left. As one of the OGs of Rochester Reckless, she jumped right back into the team and became such a dependable part of it. She may be small, but she is incredibly strong, determined, and reliable. Practices are definitely going to feel a lot quieter without her around. Brooklyn will be attending DePauw University to study Business Marketing while continuing to cheer. Watching you grow into the young woman you are today has been one of the greatest blessings of my life, and I am so proud of you.
