Sometimes racing doesn't go the way you planned….. I crashed in the third turn on Sunday, but that's just part of BMX. The important part isn't the crash, it's getting back up, learning from it, and lining up at the gate again.

I was back racing the very next day, and that's something I'm proud of. Every race, whether it's a win or a crash, teaches me something that will make me a better rider. I'll keep getting back up, keep working hard, and keep doing what I love.

Exactly one year ago today, my friends brought me to Richmond BMX, where I signed up for a one-day free trial USA BMX membership and raced my very first race.

I had no idea where this sport would take me, but one year later, I can honestly say it has changed my life. Countless practices, lots of track time, focusing on getting better, and spending hours riding my bike have helped me get to where I am today.

I've learned so much, made awesome friends, and had some incredible experiences along the way. Thank you to everyone who has supported me, cheered me on, and helped me improve.

It's crazy to look back at that first race and see how far I've come. I'm excited to keep working hard, getting faster, and seeing what the next year brings! 🏁

Today is extra special because not only do I get to celebrate turning 9, but I also get to share my birthday with my favorite little riding buddy! 🏁

Tough day for me… I took a hard spill on my bike and it definitely left a mark. BMX isn’t always wins and podiums—sometimes it’s about grit, getting back up, and pushing forward no matter what.
