Week 13 is in the Books!

17 players came out to play Aquatic Center.

Parker Evans was on fire and bounced back this week with a Hot Round 49 (-11) that rated 1017. He won by 3 strokes after handicaps!
He also took Birdie Club with 4/5!

Thats a great way to prep for NAC! Good luck this weekend Parker.

Marshall Wlascinski had 0.5 strokes added to his score. A first for him and the first time a player has had strokes added in at least 5 seasons....and it kept him out of cash.

CTPs were won by Brian Walther and Glen Russell.

Glen made his 1st appearance of season 19 making him one of maybe 4 players that have played every season of the Mini! We are so happy to have him as a League Vet!

Next week we will complete our 2nd "lap" at Sugar Lands Imperial Park!

12 weeks in the books in the 2026 Southwest Handicap Mini Season!

19 players came out to Missouri City Community Park to play some good Ole Disc Golf.

The rain held off but the mosquitoes sure didn't.

Marshall Wlascinski had a great week.
He shot the Hot Round 42 (-12) that rated 1034.
He got all 5 Birdie Club holes this week!
And for the first time in more than a season, Marsh took 1st place after handicaps.

This jumped him up into 1st place for the season points!

CTPs were taken home by Cole Carlson and Nathan Shead

SWHC Week 11 is in the Books!

We had 19 players at Brazos River Park tonight after the rain! It was wet but not too windy.

Hot round was shot by Parker Evans with a (-9) 47 that rated 983.

CTPs were won by Marshall Wlascinski, Adam Gillum, and Cole Carlson.

1st place after handicaps was won by Chad Burnett ! He shot (-3) and rated 909, 89 points above his rating!

Marshall went up to 2nd in points. Parker holds on to 1st by 10.5 points after taking another great 2nd place.

Ted Stalder is still in 3rd.

Week 10 Results from Riverpark!

David A. Deal is by far the most Handsome, Intelligent, Charismatic, Awesome person and he came out to play tonight! So glad he could Bless us with his presence.
But other than that here's the boring stuff...

20 players came out to play this evening! Wind was low and so were the scores!

Marshall Wlascinski shot the Hot round with a 46 (-13) that rated 1014

8 players tied with 3/5 birdie Club holes!

Josue Maradiaga barely won 1st place by 0.1 strokes over Chris White and Cole Carlson

CTPs went to ERic Jubin, Fred Siegmund , and Chris White.

Results from Week 9 at River Pointe Church and Current Season Standings!

We had 27 players come out for Week 9 at RPC, our 2nd week at RPC this season.

Hot round this week was shot by Marshall Wlascinski and Devin Paul .
They shot 47 (-9) and rated 986.

Vincent Dalferes shot a great (-4) and won 1st place after handicaps by more than 2 strokes over Parker.

2nd place was best case scenario for Parker Evans He earned a ton of points and jumped right up into 2nd place above Marshall, almost catching Ted Stalder who wanted to make the season a little more interesting.

Chris White shot under par and moved on up into 4th place.

Josh O'Block has 5th place

CTPs went to Alex Leal and Parker

Birdie Club was a tie with Marshall and Omar Delgado Lozano getting 4/5

Series Points Standings After 8 Weeks!

Ted Stalder shot one of the Hot rounds and took a bunch of points in week 8 to open up a lead on 2nd place.

Parker Evans almost jumped into 2nd place but Marshall Wlascinski clings to a 0.5 point lead.

Josh O'Block made it into 4th place.

Ben Sherwood and Chris White are tied for 5th.

Jacob Ross is in 7th after his 1st place this week, but will lose a handicap stroke this week for his win.

Let's see who comes to play well at RPC this week,

I'm thinking we are going to see a great round by Cole Carlson fresh off some R&R.

The other day I got to witness firsthand an exploding disc during a tournament round (Thank you, ERic). We quickly identified the largest piece of the disc, which is where he played his next shot from. We got to wondering, though, what if it wasn't so easy to tell which piece was the largest? How much time do you have to determine which is largest? Is it largest by weight, surface area, or volume?

I had always been a little "casual" about the ruling here. Didn't know there had to be a general group agreement, but in my experience it had always been a group recommendation anyway.
